June 7, 2009

During the early morning on Sunday, the driver of an SUV ran a red light, crashing into another vehicle, before smashing into a pole. At the time of the car accident, the driver of the SUV was traveling southbound on Ashland Avenue in Chicago at a high rate of speed according to initial reports, when it struck a smaller vehicle that was turning onto 67th Street. After striking the smaller vehicle, the SUV then crashed into the pole. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition. The Police Major Accident Investigation Unit is still investigating the crash.

Jason handled a very challenging auto accident case for me. My injuries were all based on preexisting conditions that were made worse by the accident. He did an amazing job proving up my case, which included destroying the defense expert at deposition. In the end, I received an excellent settlement on a tough case. Jason is a very smart, talented, and diligent lawyer who I would highly recommend to anyone. Phil S.
