2 Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Chicago Area

June 2, 2009

On Sunday May 31, 2009, two men were killed in separate motorcycle accidents in the Chicago area. The first fatal accident occurred in the 2100 block of West Fullerton Avenue according to the medical examiners report. The decedent, Victor Calderon, was pronounced dead that evening at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. The second motorcycle accident occurred at 28th Street and East Avenue in Chicago Heights according to the medical examiners report. Todd Filkins was pronounced dead that evening at St. James Hospital. No further details, thus far, have been provided regarding how either accident occurred.
